Boyd painted this at school today.
Each student painted something, and then told the teacher what it was.
It's a giant meteor.

It's a giant meteor.
Can't you tell.
Sometimes I take a lot of pictures of Boyd, sometimes I go for a few days and don't take any. I realized I didn't have any for this post, so I had him run outside real quick.
This is as good as it gets today.
Lately, I mainly take pictures with my phone.
coloring with boyd yesterday.
late night cup of coffee.
coffee this morning and a surprise overnight snow.
a new max lucado book.
the back cover, beautiful words.
a cozy fire today.
a new bible.
boyd's macaroni snowflake that he made in school today.
homemade chili tonight, with a hint of cinnamon, delicious.
Simple and ordinary, but still things I want to remember.
have a good night.
love,
nicolle

I love this! You know how I love ordinary days!
Boyd's a cutie! I need to take more pics of my boys. And, I can totally see the giant meteor ;) What's more impressive is the big vocabulary that Boyd has!
Ok, yes...definitely a meteor. :o)
I've definitely come to appreciate ordinary days even more over the past months. Glad you guys had a good one!
When I was reading about your chili, I thought you were going to say you made cinnamon rolls to have with it. My first thought was, "Yes! Someone else who makes cinnamon rolls when they make chili!" Growing up, my school always served cinnamon rolls on chili day. So, now I just think they go together even though everyone (including Dave) thinks it's strange. Ok, end of random story. :o)
I love silly-face Boyd...and that snowflake!
the photo of boyd behind the tree with the gun....oh I know I say it all the time in your comments, but I miss those days. Although, Jake has a whole arsenal of nerf weapons that at 15 he still plays with!
