christmas eve and day

We spent Christmas Eve at my mom and stepdad's house.

Boyd and his cousin Cale Jean. Isn't she a doll. Boyd and Cale are 2 months apart in age. Boyd had to make his usual faces, but in spite of looking sad in a couple of these, he was really happy and on a sugar high. These pictures make me smile. I love Boyd's smile, but his goofy pictures are always my favorite.

We had great food {ham, dressing, green bean casserole, brie, salads, rum soaked pineapple, desserts}, big laughs, and everything looked so pretty.

One more picture of the babes, before the antlers.
Boyd loves his cousin Cale, but it makes me miss him being with his other cousins, in Virginia and Hawaii.

Christmas morning was quiet and peaceful at our house. We woke up, snacked, watched tv. Boyd opened gifts and we did stockings, etc. Christmas really takes on a new meaning with a child. I loved this holiday with Boyd so much.

We went to Kevin's mom's house on Christmas day, for fondue and other snacks. It was all delicious, and her home is really festive for the holiday. Boyd played with his new Tonka truck, we watched a movie, and stuffed ourselves for several hours. It was a great day.

I feel a drop-off trip to Goodwill in my near future. How about you?!

It's hard to believe we will be putting Christmas stuff back in the attic in about a week. It always flies by. This was a really great Christmas. I hope yours was too!

Boyd is sooo cute, and so is his cousin.

It is so funny-- around the 23rd, I am so done every year that I vow to change things next year-- simplify-- slow down-- etc...

And today, the 26th, I can't wipe the smile off of my face. (or permanent marker off of Maddox' arm) It truly is so much fun through the eyes of your child!!

Merry Christmas Sweet Friend!

Glad you had such a wonderful Christmas!!!

I think Boyd and I are both graduates of the Melissa Gorga school of fashion. Loving all his cute hats!

And I love those colorful glasses! So much fun!!!

I did a big drop-off to Goodwill right before the holiday. I knew I had to get some of the old out before the new arrived. But I still need to go through old clothes and purge. Ugh.
