I hope you're still reading my blog. I promise to be back soon with the happy things that I love. At this point I feel like I've become one of those people that others roll their eyes at, and run from. I promise our life is never this crazy.
Apparently my husband didn't get the memo that medical emergencies and such were all to happen this past December for our family. He wouldn't want me sharing all of his business on here, but that pull in his leg turned out to be a severe internal infection. We were referred to a surgeon today, and they will be operating on it tomorrow. This week has been a crazy blur.
Boyd is being loved on at my mom and stepdad's house, with my sister there too.
I have been away from here for a few days, and thought I needed to pop on over and post a quick update. I appreciate the emails and texts I have received, wondering where I have been.
If our Christmas decor is still up in February, you will know why.

Oh friend, you have been on the forefront of my mind today...no wonder! I will be saying lots of prayers and know exactly how stressful emergency surgery for the hubby can be. Take a deep breath and have faith. We have amazing doctors in this country and he will be just fine. Lots of love to you guys!

I thought of you several times yesterday...and thought, I don't think Nicolle has posted in awhile...wonder what's going on? But I got busy and never got around to checking the computer. So sorry things have been rough lately. You guys are in my prayers...praying for Kevin's surgery today and that all goes well.
