I was trying to get a few pictures of Boyd today. His hair was super messy, and just the way I like it. Lately he likes to say, that is ridiculous. The other day his meemaw made some brownies, and he looked over at them and said, oh meemaw you made brownies, how special. {Yes, our lights are still on our bushes. Apparently Christmas is coming down slowly this year}.
We ran some errands today, and had Fuzzy's for lunch. I had one of their sandwiches. It was like a taco on a sandwich, and I loved it.
I got a new candle. This is one of my all time favorites, for $5.
I'm really excited about one of the goals I set for this year, get rid of more and buy less. I've simplified a lot over the last few years, but it's an ongoing process. Except for groceries, oh yeah and candles, I am really going to try to not buy a lot of extras. My goal is to stick with purchasing only those things that are disposable or will be used up. I also want to find one thing a day to get rid of, even if it's really small. I've already started. Think of ridding your house of 365 pieces of junk in a year. I love the sound of that.
It's 4 pm, and about that time of day when I like to drink a fresh cup of coffee, so I'm off to brew some.

Don't feel bad about the Christmas lights! I learned this year that Christmas season (in the Catholic tradition) isn't over until Epiphany on the 8th. One day just isn't enough for Jesus! So I have left everything out except my tree with the wonky lights. In fact, I even baked Christmas cookies yesterday :-)

Looks like Boyd is feeling okay now. I was hoping you didn't get it!!! Love the logo on Fuzzy's cup. I like your plan to get rid of the junk. I would have a hard time with that, although I am really "SIMPLIFYING" my life.
I just came in from playing tennis with Mr. G and I am having a tall iced tea. It is like summer here today. UGH!!

Your idea of getting rid of 365 things is great. I should pass that on to my mom. My brother and I always tell her what a horder she is.
I love that candle scent too. I was just smelling candles in Walmart the other day...some of their spring line was out. The key lime pie was awesome! There was also a deep pink candle...I think it was some kind of tropical fruit...that smelled really good too!
Please give more clarification regarding taco/sandwich issue. I'm wondering if this is something I should be craving.

Simplifying for the year, love it.
I am always getting rid of things. I ask myself do I use this? ANd if not, then trash. And sometimes it is hard to get rid of stuff, but it most often feels sooo freeing to just trash it and not have it in my house anymore.

We were in Keller house shopping today and my main goal, a cupcake. Guess what, we forgot! I thought I was going to cry.

We do have different charities that come every week or every other week that we donate to. I'm hoping to donate a TON more this year.
