cupcake friday

My sweet boy this morning.

We picked up cupcakes and went to visit good friends,
who let us crash their house for a few hours.
{thank you whitney b.}.
We got chocolate, red velvet and lil' bit of honey.
It was a good day.

I've had this honey flavor before, and it's really delicious.
I think it's the cutest cupcake too.

It's been a nice, quiet evening.
Just like I like it.

I just finished reading Boyd his bedtime stories. He wanted his Highlights magazine tonight. It has the cutest illustrations in it.
I remember getting this magazine as a child.
Now he's in bed, and I'm ready for my nightly cup of half-caff coffee.

I have to tell a funny story on Boyd, so that I can remember. We bought some Mario Bros. fruit snacks a couple of days ago, and Boyd said to me in the store, can we keep this box when it's empty so I can pretend that it's an ipad
Then he proceeded to play games on it while I finished up my shopping.
oh dear.
He wants one so bad.
Not yet sweet boy.

happy weekend.

love,
nicolle

Cute, love the IPad story. Maybe a refurbished IPod for his birthday?? You can still download the apps and such. I have no idea what the price is but Chris mentioned it once.

We had a lot of fun today, it was needed. I still can't believe it was cold!

I agree, the honey cupcakes are very cute!

I used to love Highlights when I was a kid too.

The Ipad story is cute. I'd like to add an "Amen" to Kim's comment. :o)

Those cupcakes look really good! Cute story about the iPad! Those stories that you read him look familiar, I have a feeling I've read them before.

This blog is proof that marketing works!
A. because I would have had to but the little bee one too, even if it were labeled "dirt flavor". It's too cute!
B. that B knows who Mario Brothers and what an Ipad is!!

Maddox calls them Marmio brothers... and Star Warriors... and I let him. :)
(Taylor Swift's song, "never grow up" can start singing now!!)
