we swam the other evening with friends.
the beginning of summer calls for stocking up on new pool toys.
dollar tree is a beautiful thing.
yesterday was the kindergarten awards ceremony at school.
there is a little bit less than a week left of school.
seems like i just took this exact picture, the other day,
of kevin and boyd walking to school on the first day.
how is it even possible that the end of kindergarten is here.

my mama heart can hardly stand it.
the kids sang a song to us, and even though i could barely hear the words,
it was soft and sweet and it made me cry.
these sweet babies.
it goes too fast.

a group of little ones singing always makes me cry.
we are in school until June 18.....so ready for it to end...but I was ready for it to end after the first week :-)
enjoy your little boy. he is still little you know. in fact, my 15 year old that carries me?...still little....
The year did fly fast!! Boyd looks so happy with his pals! The pool shots are so cute!

It goes way too fast. My baby starts kindergarten this year. I'm sure it will be even harder than when Sofia started. My heart is breaking at having my sweet (last) baby girl off to school. And Sofia. My tiny preemie. Now 91 pounds, almost 4'9 and only 8 years old will be heading to third grade. Essentially an "upper classman" in elementary. I'd just like to rewind for a day.
My chest physically lumped over that pic of Kevin and Boyd. Maybe selfishly, because I know it is our turn... maybe because I have got to watch him grow up from toddlerhood??
