we swam with friends this morning,
which stretched into the afternoon,
and we always love it.
then we ran and got cupcakes.

i had the elvis. peanut butter, chocolate, banana. it was dreamy.
boyd had one called fun in the sun.
i think the blue icing was vanilla, with chocolate cake, sprinkles and a cherry.
it was a good cupcake date.
a couple of funny things from boyd this week.
he wanted to look at tools the other day, instead of toys, when he and kevin were at the store.
he came home all excited and told me that if he was a good boy all week, he would get his own pair of needle nose pliers.
i love it.
also, when my mom was with him this week, they went into a department store, and he saw a mannequin, but didn't know what they were called, so my mom told him. a little while later they were in the ladies' section and he said with all seriousness, look it's a girlequin.
and then last night he told me, mom since i didn't see dad all day, maybe he can take me to the store for some private time and we can look at ammo.
oh how i love him.

And, you guys always find the best cupcakes! When we were in Ohio we passed by a cute little bakery called Bake My Day! I wanted to stop...but we were on a time crunch and didn't get to. :( Next time I will!
