at the end of may, my mom and i made a quick and crazy day trip to austin.
i love it there. so much to do. such a fun city.
boyd finished up 3rd grade with field day, awards day, and a class party.
boyd started off summer with parker and vacation bible school.
i love these two together, more than i can say.
kevin has cooked a couple of really amazing briskets over the last few months.
he has spoiled us, no bbq restaurant can even compare.
the last one he cooked, i only took a picture of the relish tray.
i was too excited for the brisket!

life looks a lot different than it did when i started this blog,
it's almost been a decade.
i'm nearing my mid 40's, my body and my mind are so different,
my priorities have shifted,
kevin has to put up with a lot of hormones,
and boyd only has 2 years left of elementary school.
i never knew that life could go by so fast, and each year i truly think that it speeds up.
the memories i keep on here are precious to me, so i'll keep posting when i can.
i love looking back on the highlights.
